I love to make a connection with anyone who views my art by touching a shared sentiment. I hope it makes you smile. Pets bring us so much joy. That is what is meant to be shared, celebrated and commemorated.

You will find artwork in an array of materials and mediums. Acrylic paint on canvas is my current favorite along with hand-painted silk scarves. I am not a realist, but prefer to simplify and abstract important elements that express a feeling, emotion or moment in time.

I have always enjoyed training animals and getting to know what is important to them. Dogs, particularly Labrador Retrievers (my own and the rescue dogs I have taken in or fostered), are my first love and predominate my art. I have had dogs most of my life. From wonderful mutts that I adopted to show quality Labrador Retrievers that have lead me to a deep involvement in the breed, I have loved them all! I did not choose to focus on dog art just because it is popular. I choose it because dogs are my life. My every day revolves around dogs and I would not have it any other way.
